Warkworth Villa

Restoration work on this Warkworth villa focused on reinstating the original verandah detailing. Incorrect front detailing was removed and replaced with accurately replicated components, including the original teardrop posts and hand-crafted square-cut shoulder details.

Specialist wood turners were used to reproduce the traditional profiles, with two different designs required to match the detailing across the front and rear of the verandah. The work demonstrates the importance of careful research, traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail when restoring character homes.
